A December 2025 report says 71% of residents hold the government digital certificate. The government presented a citizen digital identity wallet with Var Group on 21 October 2024, built for verifiable credentials such as the NIA and social security card and aligned with the EU eIDAS 2 rules. I could not confirm a public launch date for the wallet.
